5 – 7 Fresh Organic Fruits and Vegetables a day…
Dr. Gina recommends that each adult consume a combination of 5 -7 fruits and vegetables of the season each day. Preferably the produce is organic to be free of pesticides, herbicides, polishing products and fertilizers. Though these substances ensure the farmer a large crop, they are toxic to humans and many of them are carcinogenic. The farming industry uses these substances to ensure as large a crop as possible, but as a result, the soils are overworked and artificially supplemented with produce that contains low amounts of vitamins and minerals.
So, organic is the way to go if your can. Organic ensures that you are free from the toxic products used in commercial farming. Ask your local farmer what their farming techniques are and support those that are ensuring you are getting the best there is locally.
